Are some APs better for cognition than others?
I tried Latuda, Risperidone, Abilify and Zyprexa with Seroquel. I think Latuda was best out of those for cognition as I was able to work an office job almost full time on it for the year I was on it. But I had to stop it as I had some positive symptoms, nightmares, anger issues, bad akathisia, nausea and insomnia.
I know stimulants improve cognition as I tried a dopamine boosting supplement but it worsened my positive symptoms and made me more angry. Any other supplements for cognition? One pdoc wanted me to try Modafinil. Wellbutrin helped but made a mean commentatory voice insulting others appear.
Was very sleepy all day, so doc wrote it, after 2 to 3 weeks started to get head ache and sleep went away,
I was prescribed Modalert 100 and doc stopped it.
When I talk with people especially for more than 30min my mind becomes blank and I forget what I wanted to say. Then my thoughts stop and my mind stays blank. I end up leaving as I have no thoughts to say. Sometimes people tell me I repeat myself often. I forget what I said like 20min earlier. Its annoying.
Practicing hard mental tasks daiily is what helped me most with recovering my cognition. Exercise and diet also really help. Sarcosine helps enough that I notice it when it’s missing. The older style APs mess with my cognition, but I have few issues with the newer ones affecting it other than sedation.
Not only that, I consumed porn for hours straight. Whole days could go by because I was trying to find some good porn. It became freakier and freakier.
Modafinil increases norepinephrine which increases sex drive.
When I wasn’t masturbating and watching porn I was googling sh-it, for hours straight. This was when I was in school. I needed to study but modafinil ruined my studies.
