I have an unusual interest in ECT after meeting two people who used it for depression successfully and I’m wondering how it’s worked on sz symptoms. Anyone tried it??

Not good with symptoms, or side effects or other? Care to elaborate? I always thought it was the holy grail
I have forgotten my childhood and teenager years,
Meds are better, it effects on your intrusive thoughts from past but not for too long, they come back but your memory doesn’t,

I had to do ECT for a while. It helped with some of my symptoms but not all of them. For example, the voices have been harassing me less but they have not completely gone away.

I’m thinking of diving in the deep end, memory loss wouldn’t be an issue for me.
