How do you feel about them ??
Me i was on them last two years or more
They r good and even better and stronger than atypical
Atyical they are not potent and have side effects
Thats what happened with me
Whats your thoughts about typical antipsychotics?

I was on perphenazine for five yeats or more. Haldol chest pains. Loxapine not effective. I like them bettet than atypicals too.

In my experience I’ve tried two typical antipsychotics such as prolixin and haldol. When I was on haldol my doasage was 30mg, and it worked in terms of stopping my positive symptoms, but it made me very restless. Prolixin was another one I’ve tried but it had not effect on my hallucinations so I dropped it. I’ve heard both haldol and prolixin are very potent meds.

What happened again?
I was on one. I felt really weird. Like a void in my brain. I got suicidal quickly. Not cause my life was bad. It was medication induced.
My sentiments exactly. I hate the typicals. If I was faced with the choice of taking a typical or living on the street, I would probably choose living on the street.
Prefer typical too.
I used to be on a Clopixol injection, which is a typical antipsychotic. I didn’t like it. I got akathisia and dystonia.
Typical antipsychotics cause more eps: akathisia, dystonia and parkinsonism and tardive dyskinesia. That is why atypicals are used more now.
