Anybody on ap and hasn't experienced weight gain?

i put on 30 pounds the first year. but my weight has remained consistent for the last two years eating 3 meals a day.

it seems most of us put on weight. anybody not gain weight? and what med are you on?

I lost weight on Geodon. 40 pounds

But it stopped working and I had to switch, not sure what this new med is doing to my weight yet.

Seroquel made me gain 15 pounds but I lost it later when I was no longer being prescribed it. Zyprexa didn’t make me gain any weight, it’s the one I’m still on. I put on four pounds in California but I think that’s because I ate fast food almost every single day.

I lost weight on Latuda and Haldol. I have gained a bit on Amisulpride but not much.

The worst one for me was Olanzapine. That drug is awful

My weight has fluctuated up or down about 4 pounds on AP’s, so no I haven’t really had any substantial weight gain. I’ve been on haldol, zyprexa, geodon, and now latuda and seroquel

I stopped gaining weight when I started taking topamax as my mood stabilizer.

Abilify has been weight-neutral so far.

I’ve gained on everything but geodon, latuda and rexulti.

I gained on Geodon and Abilify, and maintained on Haldol.

When I started Zyprexa 3 1/2 months ago, I was afraid of its reputation for causing weight gain. I started on day one using a weight loss website and staying within 1200-1400 calories a day. So far, I’ve lost 19 pounds. I can’t say that Zyprexa doesn’t cause weight gain, it does, but when you’re meticulously careful about what you eat, it is possible to lose weight on it.

I lost a ton of weight on topomax. All I wanted was steak.
