Any tips on how to avoid post-night med food binges

I get so hungry after my night meds. Any tips to not reacting to the false hunger?

Get a mini snack like a gold bar or a ribband, they normally stop the hunger and they dont have loads of calories in them.

Smoothies are filling and healthy. Yougurt with granola and berries. Cinnamon toast. Banana.

Make brushing your teeth part of your night meds routine. I usually take my meds, brush my teeth, and immediately go to bed. After I go to bed I refuse to eat anything until breakfast. If I’ve got an upset stomach and feel like a piece of bread or crackers would help, I’ll take Tums instead. No food. A hard no work no excuses is the only way I can avoid it. I can’t do the just eat healthy veggies thing because then it’s a slippery slope for me.

I usually give in to my night time hunger and eat something, when I am hungry at night, because I can’t sleep when I am hungry. But, I never binge (anymore). My night time eating is what accounts for my ups and downs in weight.

Eat at dinner hour. Have some peanut butter on two crackers and then go to bed.
