Any pepper heads/ hot sauce freaks?

I use to put tapatio on everything, now I prefer to make my own salsa/sauce or cut up peppers and put them on everything, I like serrano and jalapeno. Chipotle are good, habanero are still just a bit spicy for me. Anyone else?

I’ve passed habaneros and am working my way up to ghost peppers. I live for this ■■■■.

Hats off to you! It’s hard to describe why spicy stuff is so fun and tasty.

I was such a lightweight but I like enough heat where you start to cry a little…that is some nice stuff. I don’t like hot curries though. I am a chilli person.

No, but I once put too much pepper on my fried eggs when I was a crackhead. Does that count?

I love bird’s eye chili. I like the taste and the heat. I can handle the heat of a habanero, but I’m not overly keen on the taste. I haven’t tried anything hotter.

My cabnit holds tobasco-my go to, cholua, tapatio, kiluaea hott sauce from hawaii, madame papaya sauce from aruba, and my newest edition buckeys fire sauce from Austin Texas. Had some on ma burrito today, it hit the spot I gonna ask my friend who lives in austin to bring me back some when she moves to hawaii next month. If you like hott you gotta try it it is frankly amazing, I think you can order it online too

For the past 6 years I get my brother hot sauce as a Christmas present, trying desperately to find one that was too hot for him. I succeeded last year and got him one called “blow ya cock off” :joy: he didn’t think it would be so bad so lathered his burger in it and couldn’t eat it. I finally won :joy: Just for reference I dipped the end of a tea spoon in it and cried and dribbled so

My brother in law is obsessed with chillis and hot sauces.

If I am stuck with what to get him, I usually search online for the hottest one I can find.

I went to Borough Market in London once and got him a pot of Carolina Reaper sauce, and that was some serious stuff

I also have cayenne pepper sauce but for some reason its less spicy than my Sriracha sauce. I think spicyness depends on the brand of the sauce too.

I’m more a spicy food person than a pepper head/hot sauce freak .

@shutterbug is it safe for you to eat super hot chillis with your heart? I mean these things have pretty profound physiological effects

They are regarded as beneficial for heart health according to my cardiologist. I’ve also spent about 35 years building up a high tolerance.

i like spicy foods, my favorite pepper is the jalapeno, which is just mildly spicy to me. i used to eat canned jalapenos in the past for a snack, and i also grow my own peppers in the garden. and i always put hot sauce on my pizza.

i dont know if i can handle some of the hotter peppers, pepper heat is measured in scoville units.

I’m gonna invent a spicy peanut butter. Any takers?

I love jalapeños! I also love habaneros and ghost peppers! Also fried chicken soaked in Mike’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce.

@ThePickinSkunk neat idea, I don’t know if I’d be into it, but I can imagine it tasting good if they got the mixture right.

I like hot sauces but nothing too extreme.
Usually I’ll consume Franks Red Hot or Tabasco.
These are not too spicy.
