Hot sauce eaters

Not the type trying to prove something, just like hot sauces. I cycle through several of them but have a few staples I use like other people use ketchup. These are what I’ve been daily eating for the last few months. The Texas Pete’s hotter sauce and chili oil never change but I’ve been in a bhut jolokia mood lately. Anyone found any tasty new hot sauces they would recommend?

I like tabasco “chipotle” sauce on steaks…it’s all I use it for otherwise it’s tabasco regular on everything.

I am one of the dirty buggers who hoarded it and garlic chili paste at the start of the shortage. Still have a case of each. I am currently trying this and enjoying it:

I love this, as it’s the only Reaper sauce I have found with good flavour. Do NOT eat it straight unless you have a hella good spice tolerance. Even then both you and your toilet will scream in pain the next day:

That reaper sauce has some good reviews on the flavor, thanks I just ordered some. I hoarded the chili oil but ran out anyway lol.

All of the other reaper sauces are just flat-out heat with no flavour or an unpleasant flavour. They’re okay for mixing with other sauces I guess.

I agree about the reaper sauces, most of them taste like pepper spray. My favorite hot sauce I can never find. It’s not the hottest by a longshot but it’s so good and it’s low sodium. It’s called Brother Bru Bru’s African hot pepper sauce. It’s good on anything but ice cream.

The only thing I can get most of the time is Sriracha at the Co-op a block and a half away. I don’t have a car to get to any of the grocery stores or Walmart. I guess I could order hot sauce online, never thought about it before.

I make a habanero and jalapeno vanilla ice cream. It is interesting to consume. :wink:

@shutterbug O.O

I get many of mine online. It seems that the fewer people live in an area in the USA the less tolerant of spice they are. In a large city you get international options in flavors and heat. It in the country they have tobasco and not much more. I joke that these folks put mayonnaise on their white bread when they want a little spice.

I put cayenne pepper and cocoa powder on ice cream. You just gave me the idea to make a jalapeño caramel sauce.

Haven’t seen Mrs Renfro’s in a while. That’s some Bangin hot sauce! I used to get it at Publix, I’ll have to look for that again. That was the “secret” sauce for my grilled chicken tacos.

I have the Melinda Ghost pepper wing one in the op pic. I stopped eating hot sauces not because its too hot for me but because its painful in the bathroom and it still hurts for a long time after.

i have lots of hot sauce, the melindas creamy ghost pepper wing sauce is amazing. i also have daves insanity sauce which is extreme. i used to have like 20 bottles of various hot sauce in a crate but since moving and not buying any new it has reduced, also people are always “organizing” stuff and seem to move all my food items and sauces out of their original locations
