Hi everyone! I am wanting to change my medicine from risperidone to something else. I am tired of side effects such as: muscle stiffness, low sperm count and constant hunger. Have any of you changed or taken medicine with little to no side effects? Thanks!
I will change from Risperidone to Vraylar soon.
Why will you change?
My doctor won’t take me off of risperidone, she wont even add another AP to the mix.
I had to basically push her to lower my dose a bit.

Severe negative symptoms, I had no negative symptoms at all with Abilify. Abilify is similar to Vraylar, both are partial dopamine agonists/regulators.

They all have side effects. How do you know you have a low sperm count? You get tested for that.
Most of them cause erectile dysfunction.

I see I see. I read that people take pills 4 times a day for that one, do you?
I take one 50 mg pill at night, and one 25 mg in the morning. That’s it
