Another post about food, and America

now, come on Walmart, strawberries should be there, and not hiked up 6 bucks a pint! should have gotten frozen, Sheri. No! that’ll be 6 bucks too, and freezer burnt within 3 days.

$4/pint here if fresh. $5/pint frozen, which is weird. I can get frozen for $2.50/pint at the restaurant wholesaler, but it’s a 20 lb bag.

$2.77 for a pound of fresh strawberries here. $10.00 for a 3 pound bag of frozen.
I buy them fresh, cut the hulls off and freeze them myself.

I saw them as cheap as 97 cents for a pound at Smart & Final about a month and half ago. I also saw them at $5.00 a pound not too long ago.

The grocery I go to has fruit that tastes sour. I’ve stopped buying it.

Prices really vary for meat too around here. I see ground turkey for $2.99 a pound to $5.99 a pound. If I’m lucky I can find bone-in New York steak for $5.99 a pound when usually it goes for $10.00 a pound and up. I shop sales!
