Annoyed about commercials on tv

There’s too much of it, and it’s the same ones over and over, like brainwashing, and on top of that many of them are idiotic, like humour gone wrong, or just plain annoying.

This is the capitalistic way, but I wish there was something better. I mostly watch the state channel since there are no commercials, we pay for it through tax though. But it’s worth it.

I sometimes put up the channel listings when the commercials come on, but it’s a hazzle. I think I will just mostly stick to the state channel, or watch movies I have on disc. So tired of commercials :worried:

Apparently you can buy yt premium for cheap like 2$ using a vpn once for registration, you just put region as india or argentina or a cheap place.

The reality is that connecting your laptop to your television is the best way to deal with everything

That’s the PC in my man cave. Very quiet and makes a great PLEX server. Excellent for watching Youtube on the big screen and also for conferencing as I do my AA meetings through it using Zoom.

I’ve heard in the UK they have TV licenses instead of commercials. I’d rather pay more for TV without commercials, but doesn’t really matter since I don’t watch it anyways.

I think it’s been proven that the system of using public broadcasting with taxation works

The BBC is hugely successful

Well, if you go online to YouTube they still manage to sneak some ads in, but they are short 5-10 second ads.
