I just eaten a ready meal (pasta and cheese ravioli) out the freezer with said consume within 3 months. I just checked and it was purchased in August last year so nearly 7 months ago. It tasted okay but now worried I’m going to get sick.

of purchase date. Its been in the freezer for 7 months.
If it’s been sitting in the freezer it’s most likely safe enough. Many “use by” dates have more to do with being fresh-tasting and overall quality than a measure of bacterial or fungal growth. I think you’ll be fine.

Did you buy it fresh or was it already frozen.
I brought it fresh then froze it.

It said you can freeze it but consume within 3 months. oh and defrost,
Yeah it will be okay. It is meant to be eaten within that amount of time if eaten as a fresh product. Frozen it lasts much longer.
