Pasta that’s gone bad?

I just had some spaghetti that’s been stored in the fridge in an air tight container for like maybe 3 weeks.
It looked ok and tasted normal but now my stomach hurts a bit.

Could it have been spoiled?

If its cooked I think 3 weeks is a lot and its maybe spoiled.

It could have been in there for 2 weeks.
But it looked good and didn’t taste funny.

It was just plain spaghetti, no sauce.
I added fresh sauce to it.

I would have thrown it out when it was creeping up on a week.

At the latest.

I’ve gotten sick from food that smelled and tasted good.

I don’t know,

It could be unrelated.

But I feel like that spaghetti was bad.

My mother -in-law is a cheapskate, never throws anything out…so she always has expired food at the ready to serve whenever we visit.

My joke with my wife is…

"I think that food was fresh the last time Mr. Clean had hair! :wink:

I ate some meat that was a couple of days over, got my throat infected for months. Won’t be doing that again

I think I ate too much pasta with lots of tomato sauce.
Maybe I just have indigestion and heartburn.

I don’t think the pasta was spoiled.

My father tasted some earlier and he’s fine.

I worked in a restaurant that precooked the pasta, the shelf life was 2 days, if it didn’t sell then it got thrown out. 3 weeks is a long time, it probably went bad.
