Hi, do any of you drink alcohol free beer and does it have any interactions with antipsychotics? I’m asking because I read somewhere that brewer’s yeast could interact with antipsychotics.
Some still carries a tiny bit of alcohol. Not sure what brands. Hops is a sedating herb so maybe there is potential to get oversedated and sleepy?
I drink it occasionally it tastes pretty good. I don’t drink alcoholic beer and I’m not tempted to drink it either. But I do drink nonalcoholic beer and it’s pretty good. I have no problems with the meds and it as far as I know. Only had about 6 non alcoholic beers my whole life. It’s something I picked up upon lately.

I tried it a couple of times, if I drink it in the earlier part of the day its ok, but at night when I take my pills it is sedating. I guess it has something to do with hops.
