A year ago we loaned the inlaws a hundred dollars so they can get a fancy washer. They never paid us back. So we just said let us use it and we will call it even.
They got us a stackable washer and dryer but we have to pay them back and they get to decide where it goes.
I know I shouldn’t complain but whenever they borrow money we never get it back.

I hate your in laws. Pretty sure everyone here hates them. God will you ever be able to get away from them? They’re garbage people who deserve to live their garbage lives alone and miserable.
Personally, I would never loan people money. I am good with my money and am not going to help those who waste theirs.
It’s never up to me.

they are almost jackel and hyde. sometimes they treat me like crap other times they are nice. is that normal? like the washer and dryer they are hooking it up for us but i think its kind of like they don’t want us to be over all the time doing laundry
Just remember. They technically bought it with your own money. It’s not a gift. It’s another way to control you.
