We have had to do our laundry over at my in-laws plave. They claim it saves on electricity to do laundry over there. They think its our washer and mainly the dryer on why the electric bill was so high. Not the 5 a.c. units of theirs and one of ours. I’m not stupid though they treat me like I am. I just hate having to have dirty clothes piled up for three or four days In between times I can do laundry. I liked being able to do laundry everyday.
Yesterday I had to clean the trash cans and I got soaked with about 10 gallons of garbage water. Instead of being able immediately go and shower I had to help fix their stairs AGAIN for over two hours I cant wash the clothes and shoes until Tuesday.
I know what every one is gonna say move out of here. Kay wants to get a land contract house. So like my in laws house it’s there’s in two more years she wants to do something similar. But cheapest deposit and down payment we saw was 1200 down 460 a month so roughly have to save 2500 dollars for deposits on bills too
Just wash the clothes. They can’t dictate how you use your own apartment that you pay rent for. And you already know how I think you’d be better off at a homeless shelter than with those monsters, and how I think Kay should care more about her partner being abused in front of her. So I won’t go on another rant, but I really hope you can escape soon.
Maybe you could rig a clothes line and hang some of your items up. That way the clothes in your drier will dry faster. If they don’t like it, point out the electricity their air conditioners use, and tell them to get ■■■■■■.
God I wish I could! Kinda saving that for when we move though. Tried something like that before and my father in law threatened to punch me in the face
It’s good to hear you are taking action and putting some effort into getting out of there. Keep doing it. Just think how happy you will be to have an apartment or house just for yourselves.
