A thirsty crow found a pitcher with some water in it, but so little was there that, try as she might, she could not reach it with her beak, and it seemed as though she would die of thirst within sight of the remedy. At last she hit upon a clever plan. She began dropping pebbles into the pitcher, and with each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it reached the brim, and the knowing bird was enabled to quench her thirst.
Believe it or not, crows actually have been spotted doing this in real life. They also will look at the stoplight and when it’s red they will drop a nut on the road. Then it will turn green and the car will run over it with their tires. Then when it turns back red they will go and eat it. Clever motherfrigging animals!
Crows are really clever birds. I think I saw a raven in Las Vegas, it was smaller than a crow and had a blue sheen to it’s feathers. Is that a raven? @flameoftherhine
nah ravens are like double or triple the size of crows… @Wave knows the proper name for those birds your talking about… the rest of us call them black birds though…
We had one at the nature center I used to work at. His name was Edgar. Then there was a crow named Poe. There was another crow named Allen but Poe killed him for territory. They were all injured rescued birds. Very smart we gave them toys for them to play with because they need to be entertained.
I worked at another nature center too and they had an exotic animals section. One of the animals was a legless lizard. It was from Australia!!! Scariest animal I ever saw up close! That thing would bite ur hand off if u aren’t careful. I only worked at THAT nature center for about a week or 2 lol. They had all types of dangerous animals and had me doing dangerous jobs. Plus it was 30 minute drive to get there.
I cleaned the bald eagles cage a bunch of times. They’re more scared of you than you are of them. But they don’t want you to know that. They’re pretty magnificent. But I was more partial to the Falcon, crow, Raven, Hawks, owls and vultures!! The Eagles were my least favorite but they were the most magnificent by far!!
