to my diet. I had cut it out. but for the last year I’ve been eating meat.
my new diet is pretty simple.
breakfast- fruit smoothie, 2 turkey burgers
lunch- tuna wrap and side salad
dinner- big salad and baked potato.
not sure if I want to gain weight or lose weight. once I start exercising and adding more activities I will probably lose weight, my calorie intake isn’t a lot like 1500-2000 calories.
. when I used to try to gain weight it was impossible for me to get enough calories, especially when you try to eat whole foods. I think I will just be a healthy weight then, whatever I weigh I weigh.
and the meals are all easy to prepare…that’s big for me because I don’t have a lot of skills in the kitchen.
I basically eat the same thing everyday. I change up salad dressings. and I have 2 different smoothies that I alternate. I don’t like to meal prep a lot of different things. this is easier. I will stick with it for a couple months and then maybe change thing around when im sick of eating the same things everyday.
sometimes, like tonight I get a free meal mom has prepared for dinner. that also adds a little variety. she cooks like 3 times a week on average…and always invites me over.
one thing i’ll have everybody notice is mostly no grains. just the tortilla wrap. grains don’t agree with me, I’ve tried almost all of them, they give me extra mucous in my nose and I hock up big hockers from my throat after I’ve eaten a big bowl of pasta or rice. they’re out now and I think im healthier for it.
I imagine your life is more enjoyable on a regular diet again. are you going to go back to your diet? or are you moving on?
I used to count calories and eat one big meal a day. but now Im back to eating 3 times a day. I’ve heard some people say you should eat like 5 or 6 small meals. but dr. berg (youtube doctor) says everytime you eat you spike insulin and he recommends to eat twice a day because of that.
it’s ok. just do your best. each day is a new day. 800-900 calories is not that much food. that must be tough. maybe a slower weight loss plan that combines walking or exercise everyday with lots of whole foods would be best. you surely must have lost a lot of weight eating that way.
im getting to the point that I just try to eat kinda healthy and exercise and whatever I weigh is what I weigh and just have to accept that.
