I think he took a hard stand against Russia. He was a militant president, in spite of what he said.

Post war was a crazy time. Germany came back into favor over the soviet block. Stalin was shady as hell and everyone knew it. Welcome to the cold war.

Still. Capitalism will never solve world hunger. Freedom will but tied to the economy will never do anything but make unworthy people rich.

I’d never trust a president nor an economist with anything they say.

In my mind, politicians should be pragmatic. They should have certain issues they care strongly about, and other issues that they’re willing to bargain with. Politics is the art of the possible. One thing I like about Tulsi Gabbard is that she is dead set against these endless regime change wars we keep getting in. They cost too much, and they don’t do any good. I mean, how much do you think we helped Iraq?
