Every day of my adult life, as a mother, I’ve tried to get health care for my daughter.
Her meds every month, or doc visits, or treatment for CF,
under a private health insurance would have been more than a house payment.
What man wants to take that on?
What single mother?
Obamacare came along, so brave, after a recession,
maybe done sneakily,
don’t care, some people are getting insurance for the first time in their life.
Our country will cover our kids, but when you reach 19, or into adulthood,
there used to be nothing for these CF’ers. I met many families,
going broke, not able to cover their loved one, no Medicaid, nothing.
You had to be a single mother to get it.
Myth that the middle class and tax payers are paying for our Obamacare.
My brother pays the same, or less than Beth pays on it each month,
through Blue Cross.
I do believe the cost is going to deficit, or debt, which fluxuates with
our economy.
The person fighting it and saying I’d rather take the penalty fee,
than pay $800 a month for a couple,
that’s the market. That’s actually about what it is for everyone in that
income bracket.
But instead they blame it on helping the poor, Obama, our costs.
The people not covered are costing us over double what their coverage
would be.
Please. If you care about the pre-existing conditions that need a supplement,
or a plan because it’s not out there in employment, or vacant through DHS,
support health care plan for our country.
Please vote Democratic this season.
My daughter may need both her husband’s insurance and Obamacare,
if it’s possible. They say they will cover her, but there will be stipulations
