Geodon vs amisulpride

Which of this med is better do you think?for cognition, negative and positive symptoms?

I think amisulpride is stronger. In lower doses 50-300 mg it is used for treating predominantly negative symptoms, in higher doses 400-800 (1200)mg it is used for predominantly positive symptoms, but is effective for negative symptoms, too. It has also antidepressant properties. It is the second most effective atypical antipsychotic after clozapine (clozaril). It is not available in the USA. Hope it helps.

wchich is stronger 80 mg of geodon or 200 mg amisulpride?I read that geodon has less side effects is it true?

I would like to know this too. I’m on adjunct Amisulpride but interested in switching to Geodon.

I’ve been on Geodon with Seroquel over ten years - 80 mg twice a day. It weakens me physically, but other than that I can’t tell I’m taking it.

How much seroquel are you on? I am on 900mg so the Geodon would have to be a low dose I guess.

I’m on 400 mg Seroquel twice a day.

I’m starting 80mg Geodon in the morning with 800 Seroquel at night. I hope it goes ok! Sounds like we are on similar doses.

I couldn’t take clozaril - killed white blood cells. Can such people still try amisulpride?

Pamito how it works?

is there anubody who takes 150 of seroquel? How do you feel on that dosage?

Is it much better than 300 mg?

yes, amisulpride does not have this side effect.
