I need to be careful with my lower back in general (scoliosis). I cannot follow the conditioning at all unless I spend 2 or 3 months preparing. And the flexibility issues, I´m unable to kick someone over the hip, for real…
I wonder if you could take spine X-rays to a sports dr and get a full checkup to see if it’s safe for you to try martial arts.
Doctor say they don´t see anything wrong with my xrays. I have terrible sciatica like once or twice a year tho. Next time I will seek help from physiotherapy tho

I need new ideas to make workout out fun and exciting…anyone got any ideas to share? Maybe I should get a soccer ball
lost about 3 pounds this month by using my fitness pal calorie counting and doing some basic aerobics and dancing about 3x a week.
My goals are to
-eat more fish like salmon and tuna steak (i meal prepped a lot of tuna steak this weekend, so yay, just had some leftover tuna steak for lunch!),
-get in more days of aerobics and for longer than 15 minutes (im out of shape lol), and
-counting calories without lying to the app. I had a problem just not logging a giant fast food meal because it made me feel guilty. Now, I log it and just accept that day had excess calories and I had not met my goal, but that is okay because tomorrow i can meet my goal.
-1300 calories/day because i need to lose about 50 pounds. after i meet that, i can go back to like 2000 calories or whatever i need to maintain weight.
I reversed pre-diabetes around 2020 so I am trying to be really careful with my diet from now on and forever so I don’t return to pre-diabetic range again. ![]()

I also have to lose about 50lbs. I love your strategy I think you’re doing a great job! My girlfriend has pre-diabetes I hope she can reverse it as well.
I think dance is a great idea. I read it burns a ton of calories.
