I was going to say what @SzAdmin said – sarcosine is a supplement, not a medication, which is why I didn’t list it. I’m still finding it helpful when I take it for neg symptoms and also short-term memory issues. I’m better when taking it (approx 30% better), but still not perfect.
I realize the first two points I listed aren’t meds either, but meds don’t work without a good attitude or managing your health. Those are essential. Sarcosine is optional, but a helpful option. I still function without it.
I’ve been taking Donepezil for about a year. I tried Strattera for a short while but it made me too anxious, but it did help with focus, clarity and motivation. Plus I lost a little weight.
With the donepezil when I first started taking it, I was dopey from my AP. No STM, slow, stupid feeling. Not like what I am when unmedicated. I think the donepezil brings me a little back to my pre-illness functioning.
Yes, i it does cause heart problems for some people. It was actually off the marked due to that. Now it is back in europe.
All patients using it have to go through extensive ekg-testing to insure they aren’t getting their qt-time prolonged.
Did you know that Centrum vitamin s are bound together with a plastic derivative that the body can’t digest and makes the pill go out the same way it went I -whole and undigested
