Would you get your medical records from a psychiatric unit stay?
I have. Wasn’t what I was expecting. Mostly I wasn’t getting anywhere with my pdoc so got most of my files out so I could figure out my next move. I don’t really recommend doing it as chances it will just get up your goat… As rather random of what did get written and what didn’t
Was it about your behaviors on the unit, or about the meeting time between you and the psychiatrist?
Both. Back story ie how I ended up there. Interaction between other patients, and staff. The pdoc sessions, Among test results of any medical tests I had done.
Interesting, thank you for sharing. When I received my records it was solely about our four minute session. Was expecting more. The same words were being thrown out too, over and over again.
