My favorite one is Diu, it’s cantonese for something like ■■■■, the complete sentence is diu lei lo mo ah!

French Canadian ones make me laugh, they’re all really innocuous religious words. Calisse - chalice. Tabarnak - tabernacle. Ostie - the Host. Sacrament - sacrament.

It’s kind of like discovering an English speaking country where all the swear words are things like “post office” and “desk” - to anyone else, the words are harmless, but to French Canadians, they’re incredibly foul.

Idi u pičku materinu - go to your mothers pussy ( extreme anger towards person)

U kurac! - into dick ( used to express a complete dissatisfaction with something )

Hljeb ti jebem! - ■■■■ the bread. Expressing feelings of surprise and sudden realization.

I don’t like many swear words from my native language (Dutch). The Dutch have some harsh swearing with diseases (f.e. cancer) and religion. I don’t even want to put those words up here, since they can be truly hurtful and they are not even funny or creative.

I found some Chinese (local dialect) swear words kind of sweet though. Like guawazi. I heard different translations: melon baby or melon face. They also used words like “toothbrush” as a swear word, but I don’t know the Chinese version anymore. They also have harsher swearing, like gou ride (dog-fked). Cuizi means hammer literary but is used for a men’s dick or oh fk!

Yeah, it is very rude to say this to the face of somebody.

I have heard enough of many others in Cantonese. That’s why sometimes I do think Mandarin is more polite than Cantonese.

I know it is. Here in portugal I can say it, no one understands it.

In Macau a lot of people said it.

Sorry if you found it offensive.

No, I am not offended by it. This is a thread just for that.
