Your Accomplishments

What things have you done that you see as an accomplishment? There are big things to all of us in our lives. Have you accomplished anything you wanted to do as a child or reached a goal you set?

I have done a few things I wanted to do. My biggest was becoming a writer both freelance and book author. I see raising my family as another.

Since I was one years old I wanted to survive. Apparently, 6 billion people did not agree to that plan. But screw them, I did it anyways.

Having compassion on everyone.

When I was younger I worked with a youth outreach ministry for six years. I don’t think I could handle that now. I also have maintained a blog now for over two months. That’s a big deal to me because I worried about running out of ideas and not keeping it going for very long.

I made a family for a couple that couldn’t have children themselves (two men).

I’m very proud of it.

Raising my kids/adult kids to be amazing, caring and thoughtful people. All other accomplishments in my life seem kind of moot.

Getting married was the biggest and happiest thing for me… we had to jump through a few hoops to get the Catholic Church to permit our marriage.

Having my sacred neigh.
That I was able to ride her and we healed together.our love :two_hearts: .

That I got my aged care certificate.
Even though I don’t use it I’m proud of it.
I finished it of when I survived ovarian cancer and thought I want to have completed my aged care certificate three before I die and I did and I survived the cancer.

My time with my x and his dogs has been the most loving peaceful home I have ever had and I am thankful for my time here with them.i believe I did good here.i helped digg and do stuff around his place.

My time as a Muslim.
I was a good Muslim and prayed five times a day.
Now I am not a member of any religion but I miss the praying.when I pray now it does not feel as good and I don’t cry like I used to.

I got my drivers license and it took me over fifteen years and lots of failures and tears and hopelessness feelings etc.

I quit smoking and I quit drinking alcohol.

I think I became a better person and girlfriend when I quit alcohol because I was a bad drunk and got in to trouble n mischief etc

I had a dog and she turned out great.
I have been a good dog mum to my x boyfriends dogs that I adore…taking them for daily walks, feeding them, cuddling them etc

I knitted a jumper making four rectangles and sewing them together.

I sewed a dress all by myself.

I made some blankets.

I made it through agonising times.

I did some exercise.

I stopped smoking 11 months ago. I quit drinking back in November, I wasnt an alcoholic but I was close to being one, my dad helps me stay on track with the no alcohol.

I’m not trying to sound like I’m bragging, but Im most proud that I’m genuinely a good person. I havent let this world take that from me. I’ve made some mistakes, but I’m not beating myself up over them anymore. Or I try not to at least.

I have two associate degrees.
In high school i became an emt and continued that for 6 years. Helping others was a very satisfying job.
Now soon that i am finally able to start working again, i hope to work as a type of patient advocate or somewhere in the legal field.

I played in an orchestra in boston. I got an internship at one of the top conceptual architecture firms in the world. None of that compares to what I’m doing now, just going about my day with schizophrenia is an accomplishment in of itself.

I quit an addiction, broke out of a harmful abusing relationship, and learned to find my own personality.

I haven’t accomplished much. But I took in a stray kitten once and raised her to be the most loving cat I’ve ever encountered.

I’ve managed to become a better person by learning from my mistakes and realising the wrong in my ways.

I’m so proud of you all!

All I ever wanted to do was fly and I became a pilot. Wanted to be an astronaut but I wasn’t smart enough and now I am sick.

It was cool being a pilot though. I had about 3500 hours when I got diagnosed. I flew heavy helicopters and multi engine airplanes.

I also have an MBA too but that was before I got sick.

Since I have been sick I went and got an associates degree and my aircraft mechanics licenses. I worked as an aircraft mechanic for six months but it didn’t pay very well. Still I.am glad I got the licenses. One day I hope to have my own plane and I can work on it. I may just build one.

I am going back to work for the federal government on Sunday which is ironic because I think the government gave me schizophrenia. But it’s a temporary job. I am trying to get a permanent one.

Only time will tell.
