I have only recently joined this site, yet I have had the profound privilege to speak with many of you. I have been continuously inspired to learn about the lives and experiences of many of you.
However, it saddens me to learn that many of given up, have decided to pursue a life that is either empty, alone or even dominated by their condition.
In a life where we are simply “David” and our opponent is “Goliath” our obstacles can be portrayed or perceived as one unconquerable.
Julius Cesar became one of historys most dominant and successful political leaders because he understood that to win, one must “divide and conquer”
Amongst us are David’s and Cesar’s and we have our opponents. If we improve just 1% of our lives everyday, like Julius and David we too can conquer.
To conclude, I think that we must summon the strength and stay focused, plan and strategise and find how we can independently improve our lives each day by 1%
Not sure yet. Want to say decrease my smoking but I’ve had a lot of changes lately and don’t want to freak out. So I say increase my exercise by 1%. I’ve gained 80 lbs since meds
Just interested in the Roman Empire. I hope I don’t get kicked out for this. But all the soldiers were pagans and experienced something with Christ, so I’d like to know how they all changed religions.
@TheBest that is very interesting. I do not personally know any books specific to that but if it is religion that you want I can make alternative references
