Working man's diet

so came up with a new diet for when I go back to work

wake up call: veggie juice (celery, baby carrots, apple, pinch of cayenne)

breakfast: morning smoothie, bowl of oatmeal, pumpkin seed and raisins mix

lunch: 2 turkey sandwiches, garden salad, and small bag of sun chips

dinner: fast food, probably a burger, or maybe 2 chicken breasts at home.

as you may have noticed I typically eat the same things everyday. I was eating 5 times a day, but won’t have time for that anymore. if I go back to work part time I can still probably workout each day, but if I go back to work full time I don’t think I will have the time or energy to workout.

I think I will save some money on groceries each week as well.

Incorporate some eggs into your smoothie for added nutrients. The chances of getting salmonella from raw eggs are almost non existent. I can personally attest to that, as I have 4 raw eggs in a blender every day and never got sick from it. I have been doing so for years now. Also, eggs have the most complete source of amino acids found in any food source, and yes the whole egg not just egg white. The yellow is what contains most of the nutrients, and no eggs are not a problem to overall cholesterol levels.

As for dinner, it seems you don’t want to put the time into cooking, so I recommend a whole chicken from the grocery store, already cooked for you and ready to go. You can get them for around 10 bucks. Easily what your fast food could cost you, if not more. The left over chicken you can’t eat that night, you can prepare for your lunch tomorrow. Example: chicken sandwiches, or throwing the chicken into a salad.

Make sure to drink lots of water as well, chances are when you start to feel hungry, you are actually thirsty.
By drinking more water every day, you will notice you are eating less and feeling more satiated from the foods you eat. This will in turn, save you money on food in the long run.

Best of luck.
