i wanna lose some weight and im sick of eating junk food. and i wanna keep it simple.

Sounds pretty healthy to me. Maybe add some oats to lunch and rice to dinner in moderate amounts I guess.
A salad somewhere would be healthier.
Consider something with salt. Your going to crave salty food on a diet like that
