Working history

I think a lot of people could do my job. I’m a janitor. It’s not rocket science and it is not hard physically. I have a routine I follow almost every day. My co-workers are a screwed up as me; maybe more. But they handle it. I’ve worked since 1984 albeit mostly part-time. Since then I’ve had about 20 different jobs and I’ve been fired from about 9 of them. I’ve lasted one day at a couple jobs.I’ve lasted about 4 years at others and I’ve been at my current job for 5 years. I didn’t like getting fired but it didn’t bother me for more than two or three weeks and I just went and got other jobs. And now I don’t care that I got fired. I got really lucky on my jobs and found my niche.

I’ve said it to you before, and I’ll say it again, I think you do a helluva job, and are more dedicated than many “regular Joes” who are out there working without a disability.
