Robots can replace mundane, repetitive, dangerous and boring jobs that humans don’t want to do. A robot cannot replace an entrepreneur, a fitness trainer, an actor or a professional sports athlete.

you under estimate robots… are the robots who compete against each other for human amusements not basically athletes… Google’s ai has created baby ai that are better at their specific tasks than any human has ever made… the shark from jaws was robotic so was the trex from jurrasic park… I thought their acting was spot on…

I don’t do anything. I suppose there are robots doing that just now.

I think eventually robots will take over lots and lots of jobs.
I think that some “artificial” jobs will exist for people who want a framework.
All jobs will eventually become redundant.
But again, artificial job will exist for people who want to work.

These robots are controlled by humans or have some basic programming to say, collect as many balls or trying to place a ball into a net.

human athletes have coaches directing their movements too…

All those jobs that are “being brought back home to the United States that will make America Great Again” are the ones that are going to be replaced by robots. So no jobs were saved. Just lost. To robots.

I’m in school but I got nos for both careers that interest me - law and urban and regional planning.

Some law related jobs will be taken. I think judges and jailers will be surprisingly. Although actual police officers on patrol and at the station will be safe except for dispatch.

I was thinking the same thing - not about judges, but about very routine law functions, like small claims, estate planning, real estate, trust planning, tax law, things like that.

Yeah those are the easiest to take replace with robots because they mainly consist of the same repetitive thing that a computer is perfect for handling. I thought patrol officers would be replaced though due to the nature of that as well. Certain procedures need to be handled. And it’s safer to send in a robot to take someone down instead of a person. They could hypothetically be superior runners and be able to subdue a person without having to kill anyone. And the robot’s programming could be easily changed to handle new procedures to keep people from being harmed ect.
