There’s a lot of talk on Reddit about all the jobs that are gonna disappear in the not so distant future. What do you guys think? Other then trade jobs, what degrees do you think are safe bets for the future? Or do you think this is just internet hysteria?
Yeah I remember the same sorts of things were said about computers. Sure some jobs became redundant but humans always have needed goods and services so I’m not sure if it’s too accurate.

He and partner went into business a ways back when AI started getting more to the general public,

Learn to use the ai tools. The longer you wait the more complex it gets lol.
Just learn a bit at a time.

Experiment with chatgpt to use as a tool to come up with new ideas. Ask it questions. Learn how to use it to get knowledge on various subjects.
Thats probably the simplist and most useful thing you could start with.
