It might help you relax or distract you, but your first line defense against the symptoms of schizophrenia and related illnesses is medication approved by the FDA and prescribed to you by your psychiatrist. As far as help getting along with your symptoms and just keeping it together in the real world, there are many coping skills and factors that can be helpful. Maybe just focusing on binaural beats and trying to keep your mind clear will help you. It wouldn’t hurt to try.
I looked up what binaural beats refers to and it reminds me of when someone is tuning a guitar or bass. When the strings are out of tune, there is a warbling sound that corresponds with how in or out of tune the two strings are. It also reminded me of certain sounds bands like Sonic Youth and Unwound got with alternate tuning. And it also reminded me of early synthesizer-based and electronic music composers like Morton Subotnik and early industrial bands like Cabaret Voltaire. Thanks for turning me on to this, I am kinda old, but I still like to learn about new things.:sunglasses:
