Just got another one yesterday!
Yeah, I’m still on it,
Doing better, slowly.

I don’t know. I’ve come off antipsychotics not abruptly. I went from 100 mg to 150 mg to 100 mg to 75 mg to 50 mg to 25 mg to nothing.
I also take a lot of nutrient etc pills that were prescribed by my GP to treat nutrient deficiency problems.
I take 3 days after I stop my amisulpride meds to show symptoms, and with my olanzapine I took a week before I felt ill. Hope you will be ok Valiumprincess! It does vary between people though.
Yup hey can here,too
Did you get your meds yet?
That’s it exactly. Antipsychotics usually have massive withdrawal symptoms. I went through them when I stopped taking my meds (Geodon and Zoloft) and it was a horrible experience. I had never felt so sick in my entire life. But eventually the withdrawal symptoms fade away (and so do the akathisia symptoms) if you stay off them long enough.
Try to get back on meds as soon as you can.
You will experience withdrawals short term and you may experience psychosis longer term.
I hope u will be OK
Ah ■■■■, w/d from aps is a bitch. Awful awful nasty
I’m still suffering from a med change last week. I’ve been manically baking/cooking to take my mind off of the fact I’m irritated at husband and have an awful headache…on the bright side I made my first magic vanilla custard cake. Came out tasty but think I’ll make a graham cracker crust next time. Keebler so rocks that they sell the crumbs now and you don’t have to mash. Spent all morning making brisket pho. Broth takes an eternity and didn’t have as much mint as I’d like. Ah, well. See what med changes do to you. I need to have people over cuz I have made way too much stuff.
I’m sorry, I’ve been without meds before it was terrible. I hope you can get your pills. Please if it becomes too much get help.
I can only go two days without meds before I start getting positive symptoms. I proved that last time I was hospitalized.
I got my meds again! Thank god, I wasn’t going to great without them.
I’m happy to hear you got your meds back!!
What meds are you taking if you don’t mind me asking? You don’t have to disclose if you don’t feel like it.
Right now lamotrigine and Wellbutrin. Was on risperdal too for some time but it didn’t do much for me so were seeing how balanced out an anticonvulsant makes me. I might go back on seroquel.
Have you experienced any side effects from either? Especially the lamictal. Does it help you with mood issues? I thought your diagnosis was BPD currently, right? OR something along those lines… Have you ever experienced a manic high?
What about Wellbutrin, do you feel anxious or anything. The other side effect I think people get is a good one, improved sexual functioning. Does it help with depression at all?
I didn’t experience side effects with the Wellbutrin however the lamictal did make me ichy for a few days.
I think the AC is helping balance out my moods but I haven’t really noticed Wellbutrin doing anything. I am less depressed but that’s because winter is over, seasons effect my mood a lot.
My anxiety is still the same, which isn’t good. I’m currently dx with GAD, BPD, psychosis nos, depression. For quite some time they said I had mood disorder nos but I haven’t heard anything about it for a while.
I had quite a few manic episodes when I was younger. My doctors thought I had bipolar, but they could never get me into the hospital during an episode so they couldn’t say for sure.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed my mental illness change though. I stopped having manic episodes and psychosis became more my issue. I experienced it before but only during manic episodes, after that it just became more and more common.
Maybe you’re just amazingly awesome!?
You should be okay at least for a few days. The older medication is still in your system on a residual basis I gather.
It usually took me a month to crash after stopping the pills.
I’m happy things worked out in the end!
For me, it usually takes a few weeks to go off the deep end, though I might be off of Clozaril for a few weeks since my doctor is out of town and can’t sign off of my blood work
I try not to think about it much.
