Why most doctors depend upon dopamine theory and alone in their treatment strategy?

where is other options like niacin (vit b3), l.theanine , vitamin c ,vit b6 , vit b12 ,vit b9 , ginkgo , ginseng sarcosine , vit e
all proved as good supplement for people with schizophrenia

Yes, supplement to actual meds. None of them have any antipsychotic properties and won’t stop you thinking you can fly and jumping off a building.

actually that what dopamine theory say exactly like you

all of these has better antipsychotic than placebo
researches say

its probably because it is the most powerful way to sedate someone.

when they ask any normal man about pills that called antipsychotic , he say it s sedating pills
may be good but i think it should be accompanied by wide variety of supplements untill voices shut up

yeah thats a good idea. and look at therapies like CBT, or ACT or other therapies to work on rebuilding how you think.

my doctor just ask me to pray and here i am praying and recovering

Hey honestly, whatever works. sometimes you just need something to believe in to get you through it.
for me the negative symptoms are more debilitating than the positive ones were. and I am learning to use cbt (cognitive behaviorial therapy) for that.

Probably because the only real treatment they can offer is for psychosis based on excess dopamine.

Treatment resistant sz is something else. Some other mechanism they don’t understand yet.

So they can only help you with drugs that act on D2. Except clozapine. That is unique.
