I was raised Jewish and have been seeing lots of antisemitism around the world lately, especially Facebook. Why do people hate us when the stereotypes are obviously not true? Have any of you been noticing this?

I see a lot of people around me I believe are nazis.
A vibe and stuck up arrogance and an ugliness and when I say ugly it has nothing to do with their physical appearance.
I canāt stand the nazis but some people i have to have around me are nazis.
I avoid them as much as I can.
The two vet girls I saw the other day supressing me might have been.
I know someone who was a Nazi and the hate is so ugly and when they pretend to be nice itās so fake.

I know we arenāt aloud to talk politics but i think there are nazis who donāt say it in public but are like a secret society.
I isolate myself.
Iām alone with my dog.
So difficult being around most people who want to suppress you to make themselves think they are superior.

One stereotype I never understood. If there is some secret organization of Jews are trying to take over the world, how would you know they are Jewish? Arenāt they supposed to be secret?

Yes, I have noticed it. Especially online. People that lack adequate theoretical thinking want to blame āghostsā for whatās happening to the world or them. Jews have been blamed for many things throughout history. Stupid people and conspiracy thinkers do this. I know one conspiracy thinker and I avoid him because itās impossible to argue with him, although he isnāt rasist, he gets angry and doesnāt argue with proven facts. He rambles on and on about sh-it thatās not theoretically proven. Also people lump up Jews as a homogenous group. There is a difference between Jews in the USA, Europe or Israel. Also online Nazis want to blame Jews for everything. Itās horrific and sad that itās going on.

I donāt want anyone trying to suppress me n thinking they can boss me about n thinking they are superior or being in my face n business.
In aged care and other scenarios itās abusive to suppress.

Just that people say all I care about is money when Iām flat out poor.
Iāve been hearing about this is in the news.
I think the blame lies on the rise of fascism in the world and the extreme right.
Plus all the dumbass conspiracy theories floating around about Jewish people.

I donāt think itās every truly left. Humans have a nasty habit of picking on minorities and certain people have a way of making them the scapegoat for nasty politic. Itās been all through history and itās horrible and certainly not acceptable in any shape or form.

There is rampant antisemitism everywhere.

We just know everything people say and do these days.
I wonāt speak to that, but I will say, as one of the tribe,
I notice very little antisemitism here on the forum.
It has happened, but is dealt with swiftly and not well received.
