I mean has my life been that bad - that the only happiness I can trust is death? In the sense of time, our visit on this earth is brief. Actually, I am looking forward to the next state of being.
Why would you want to die?
Life is amazing.
I disagree with the statement that life is brief.
A life that is lived well is long enough.
I’m getting old (76), @Chess24. It’s time for me to start thinking about and preparing for the inevitable afterlife.
@PinCushion it is never too late to start making the most out of your life.
Age is just a number.
Don’t die, we need you to break the world record for oldest schizophrenic alive. You’re the oldest on the forum here!
Nope, there’s one guy older than me. I can’t think of his name. I think it had henry in it.
Well you’re the oldest female then. I think @Unclehenry is younger than you though.
@Chess24, for your information, getting old is a lot of depreciation. It is evident to me that I am slowly dying. I do not have the resilience of youth. It’s a very real decline.
Unclehenry is 65 y.o., it says it in his profile.
That’s not who it was. Damn getting old - see, my mind doesn’t remember like it did.
Aren’t you enjoying your current life and food?
Are you depressed?
@PinCushion I don’t accept that age is a limitation.
The social conditioning of society tells us that oldsters should retire to the shell and prepare for death.
I reject this attitude.
I think that age is just a number.
I have arthritis that will argue your theory.
I think @Ridgerunner may be older than you, but I’m not sure.
@martinhersey might be the oldest member.
I’m not sure.

@martinhersey Yes, it wasn’t henry, it was hersey that I couldn’t remember. He is a year older than myself
Yes. I’ve had to learn to work around the fact that my hands suddenly let go of things without warning as well. This never used to be the case. Very annoying.
@anon39054230 I’m still young at 66. A few people on here are older than me.
66 years old now @Aziz. I guess I should update that! Take care.
