Why don't they understand

They dont get it, they baby their ■■■■■■■ son who has all kinds of stuff wrong with him. My mother in law just told me that I need to get off my meds that it’s ruining my brain. That soon Medicaid will kick me off because there’s nothing really wrong with me. I’m so sick of these ■■■■■■■ mind games! I didn’t do anything to her

Sorry man, someone should talk to your mother, she’s unaware,

I feel you. Happens with me everyday. They tell you the medication has no effects. “The medication can’t help you”. Etc

How did you respond?

I’ve been told that I need to do spiritual practices to remove schizophrenia once n for all… Taking herbs and not watching porn
And understanding the parastic entities spiritual ones… It freaks me out

You can’t cure schizophrenia from spiritual or religious practices. Sometimes, it makes things worse.

I guess I’m lucky. When I told my preacher (who came to visit me while I was in the hospital) that I saw demons, he just said a prayer with me and didn’t condemn me. Seemed to understand MI better than most. Religion won’t cure sz/sza.

I mean, honestly, @cbbrown, this isn’t going to stop until you move out of there. That’s all I can say. There’s nothing else to do.

I can’t wait for the day you move out @cbbrown.

They sound totally ignorant about sza. Not something likely to go away on it’s own and very debilitating without medicine. I doubt they would go to a nami meeting either and learn something.

I just shook my head I don’t know what to say when she goes on her rants. Her son is very ill with diabetes, hep c and heart problems she wouldn’t dare tell her son to get off meds. My partner pays 130 dollars a week for her step brother’s meds my meds are all paid for by Medicaid so i don’t see how it’s hurting them me being on meds

It sounds like you’re living in a Roald Dahl book. I really hope your situation improves

Nobody should be treated with less civility than others in the same house, not only is it detrimental to the person being picked on but it sets a horrible example for every young person who witnesses it.

I’m so sorry to hear how badly you are being treated. I wish I had some magic words that would make it all better but i don’t so I’ll offer you a hug ((hugs))

That’s what she says, then she says they keep raising the doses maybe it’s all the medicine killing me is the problem

True story! It’s not hurting them at all! That’s generous of your partner to help them out!
