I was went to a psychiatrist doctor and asked for MRI scan of my brain. The doctor said schizophrenia is a functional problem and not a structural problem. So you don’t find anything in MRI. There for it is a disease of soul.

Well there arent physicial changes in the brain, but there are hormonal changes in the brain. The brain of schziophrenic is much more active and flaired up - hence to dopamine theory

@anon1243761, there are many studies done that show that a functional MRI, aka fMRI, can show schizophrenia based on changes in the functional aspects of the brain.

I like to think that there’s something perfect in everyone. It gives me comfort… And why couldn’t it be true? No one has evidence. To disprove that.

I think the brain is extremely sensitive and people do not eat well and use a lot of caffeine. Stress also causes problems.

Depends on who you ask. Some psychiatrist believe in inflammation theory others in an emergent property.
There are more than one psychosis factor. Some people get diagnosed because they overdose bong, others get diagnosed because they’re dispossessed intellectually and mentally.
Sure there are clear definitions for illness itself but causes can vary in my opinion. Bad upbringing, drugs, abuse, neglect, environment. Some people glorify it so much that they believe themselves that they are sick. That’s why I’m so pro therapy in getting clear quality answers what the hell is happening in your head.
