I’m not sure what you’re saying… are u saying it’s not a conditions that people from the forum can define?

It’s probably something simple like the common virus like influenza or similar that hits genetic abnormalities in the genome. It’s interesting that the dx rate remains pretty constant at 1 % give or take. Like 1 in 100 get sz so it’s rare but it’s not super rare.

I would suspect it’s something like that. Environmental event that hits some faulty or different chromosomes.

Idk. But I kinda wonder if there are early signs in childhood. Like something disconnects or isn’t taken the right way. I have great hand eye coordination and wasn’t a loner or weird which is something they say children who later develop it are a lot of times. I was always on the outside though. I wasn’t like a lot of other people. Maybe I just had a different life.

I always wondered about childhood, but mine wasn’t terrible, other than a pretty verbally abusive stepfather… I also wondered about sleep deprivation… but that doesn’t apply to everyone so idk I was just curious

For me it was brain damage

A psychological trauma, which at the brain level generates a desynchronization of neurons. Maybe, idk

I would say drugs caused mine but I also had bad COVID with a severe fever when mine started. I actually read a few stories when COVID caused sz.

I was molested , raped , emotionally tortured and had insomnia and suffering.

When a man injected me with a drug against my will that’s when i became psychotic.

If I was more stable and had not suffered so in my life I might not have reacted that way and may not have become psychotic.

Then later I had some relapses.

I kindof believe that people were doing it to me .
Such as voices was them torturing me etc
Delusions were real things…

Stress on the brain in general mostly dude to lack of sleep…like oxidative stress I guess you could say. When the brains ability to clear out toxins and do general repairs is hampered because of lack of sleep. Then the brain starts entering into a dream like state during waking hours to cope with it. That’s my opinion.

Epigenetic changes to the DNA caused by trauma mostly, in addition with substance abuse.

It’s very interesting to read and to realize,
That every person has an unique answer to this question.
Honestly… No one is sure what for 100% causes it. I would LOVE to know.
If I was smarter I would spend my whole life to getting to know more about psychosis or SZ.

No idea, it is probably a near molecular problem in the genome of neuron dna

This is interesting.

I have thought maybe this.

My explanation for why no one thinks/thought this was valid, or why it isn’t used, is that thorazine came along and it worked. I think it makes some kind of sense.

When the double blind is based upon hallucinations, it would add to the confusion.

It is interesting to see the contradictions and miscommunications/misunderstanding of a situation could exacerbate sz, or be a reason for causing sz symptoms.

Interesting, thanks.

Yeah, when I came upon this idea, It seemed possible. Your welcome.
