That’s a good question and I will offer my ideas if they can help any.
I believe that, at least in my case, I have some big problems and I must get one thing before I can get the next. For example, I could not have a girlfriend until I could feel more secure with myself.
Another explanation that I tell myself when I can’t think is that I am too upset and I need to calm down first.
