I have a challenge for you. Paint something, but don’t force yourself to do a complicated traditional painting.
Hand paint some rocks. Xmas is coming and they would make lovely gifts.
I bet you can do it.

My aunt does this year round, she’s getting very good at it. I like yours, very nicely done.
I suppose small projects aren’t too bad but I get lost in the detail on small projects, I usually paint medium to large size canvas and boards because of it. I guess I’m making excuses haha. I used to paint scenes on little wooden buoys for like a keychain or ornament. I would paint full scenes on these little wooden things with a tiny brush, with oil paint. I would only get a few dollars for them but at the time I didn’t know any better.
Not mine. I just grabbed a pic off the Net. My rocks would have ugly stickmen.
All I’m saying is that if you can’t do a large project, start small and work your way up.
Doing art takes momentum. You need to build it up again when it has been lost.

I haven’t made music for a couple of weeks.
Hopefully, it will come back to me.
Listening to music with my new ‘producer’ ears changes how i imagine it, especially techno, but alas I haven’t been arsed to make any tunes for ages.
It is simply the way it is. I don’t hate myself for it.

video games, movies, tv shows are basically all i do in my free time, other than eating which my appetite has reduced alot, these things bring me joy, i also spend alot of time on youtube or watching documentaries.
i have some days where i want to game so badly but it feels like exhausting even trying to work myself up to actually play, and usually when i push into a game on one of those days i end up closing after a few minutes.
something thats helped is telling myself its just for fun and a hobby rather than something i need to spend all my day doing like my life depends on it so some days ill game alot, others if my body and mind are not up to the task ill just relax and do something else

For me, it depends on what antipsychotic(s) I’m taking. With some I can read etc, with others I can’t
