I’ve never used a dating website but many years ago I used to use romance ads, as they were called, in the local newspaper. I always had really good luck with them.
I once used a paid, and pricey, dating service. I had so- so luck with that. Found a nice man but he wasn’t my dream date.
I have no interest in dating anymore. My time is over. Let the kids do the playing.
I have a blasé attitude to dating. I get the odd bonk now and again (so long as i got the viagra lol)
But if i never met a woman in a year it wouldnt bother me. Dating sites and me - are usually a disaster. If im ever going to go back on the pull - i will do it the traditional way and chat them up in a bar and buy the drinks in.
I’ve met some one from tinder once… I hate to say that she was weird… but she got kind of obsessed with me.
But it was nice to have somebody to talk to.
I was sick of being used on Match.com and gave up on it
3 months later I had an email from someone who had arranged to meet me and then I cancelled and gave up

I never found serious relationship there. Just flirt, a few days.
Now when i connect to dating sites or facebook dating app, i feel embarrassed cause I have a low confidence in myself. :[
