■■■■, we’ve probably done a thread similar to this in the past, at least for favorite musicians, but not for most hated musicians. Oh well, I’m bored and I’m interested to see any responses I get.
Well, my favorite band is Mushroomhead, a lesser-known metal band, has been for years. I’ll admit they’re past their prime, especially with the way members keep leaving, especially in recent years. I still dig their music, though, and their live performances never disappoint, been to eleven of their concerts.
You might expect my most hated musician to be Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus, but no.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like pop, but my most hated band is Marilyn Manson. He/they seemed to be more about style than substance. I mean that in that they hit it big in the mid- to late-90s as much or more with image and shock value than with good metal music. Their popularity seemed to drop off when their novelty and shock value wore off. Writing songs bitching about the “beautiful people,” a bit odd for a guy who always had to be sure his makeup was perfect.
Okay, you get the idea, I’m a metalhead who thinks Manson was/is garbage.
most loved band? uh that’s impossible…no one is the best…one of my favorite bands currently is Brand New, the band. most hated band…that’s impossible because I love most music. haha
Favorite band: can’t choose I like a lot of pop punk, punk, and if I had to choose a punk band it would be flogging Molly
Least favorite: most music nowadays. I can’t stand a lot of popular music. I don’t like icp, I’m not a juggalet, hate Tyler Swift, Justin bieber, Nikki Minaj. I also hate that baby shark song
She does not seem like a nice person. I know little about her but the rare occasions I see or hear something about her she seems to be running her mouth a lot and bugging other celebrities.
My taste in music has changed as I’ve aged, which I think is normal. From the punk of the Ramones and The Clash, to bands such as GNR and Metallica. Then bands that I found to have a social message such as U2 and Midnight Oil. Then on to synth bands such as Depeche Mode and Erasure. Now that I’m approaching 55, I like Sia, Sam Smith and Adele.
My favorite artist is Mozart or Bach. Literally Get so much stimulation from that. But my fave band depends I don’t really have one. I prefer a lot of music types not really too specific. But riki music is now something I prefer a lot.
Too many favorites but Indie, punk, hardcore, Metal, Death Metal, Pop, Classical…I like a lot of music!
Disliked. I don’t really do country or Ska or disco but some people I do like. I do like some ska, think highly of some country artists and even boogie down to some Hot Chocolate…but don’t we all get down to Hot Chocolate???
