Right now I’m really impressed with Boygenius, just saw them on SNL last night. I went for years not liking much new music, but them and Phobe Bridgers have changed that.
I like Japanese Breakfast a lot too.
The girls are doing much better than the boys these days as far as current music goes.

I listen almost exclusively to rap and hip hop.
I don’t really know if I would classify any of that as the typical “band”.
I really would have a hard time picking one.
But according to my spotify account,
The bands I listen to most are The Darkness, MSI, and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

I have others I love and favour and i don’t listen to type o negative often.
I don’t listen to music often.
My favourite was a biker radio station that played my favourite songs and bands etc and they were perfect but they are not as good last few years.
Maybe it’s cause of the new djs or something i don’t know.

For more than two decades Mushroomhead has been my favorite band, though I don’t like the new Mushroomhead as much as I did with the more old school members. That band has undergone so many lineup changes it’s ridiculous. I first saw them live in 2009, and the only member from back then who is still with the band is the drummer.
Second favorite is a toss up between Eastern European metal band Infected Rain., and A Perfect Circle. A Perfect Circle is fronted by Tool’s vocalist, Maynard James Keenan.
