is anyone paliperidone injection here ?are you happy with this injection?lately some users switching to different injections and i suspect that is there a problem with this drug other than personal side effects?
I take it monthly and have no problem.
i dont have any problem too but lately some of users that i know they changed to different injection and i suspect that is there any general problem with this drug.
I used it. It didn’t have any problems for me. I switched to oral risperidone dose because now I have tardive dyskinesia and needed to taper/lower my antipsychotic dose.
sorry for your td.i hope you better now
There’s no probem with it, just people want to try different meds. I’m thinking of stopping my injection to see if i can live with just Abilify.
@HulGil I just found out I have TD. Mild.
Yeah mine’s pretty mild too, but I don’t think I should have been on the max dose of Invega Sustenna. But it’s my own damn fault for constantly going off my meds and ending up in the hospital.
I don’t respond to a low dose of Invega. But now that i am on Abilify, too, I think I can taper.
What I heard, actually, is that high prolactin levels will lead to osteoporosis. You may or may not be aware that invega raises the level of prolactin in your body
But if it’s your miracle med it would be a tough choice. Maybe by adding abilify you can reduce prolactin while taking invega
Look at past threads. Read patient reviews for this drug. You can come to your own conclusion.
im on invega injection. I dont like AP’s in general but if theres anything id want to be on its this
It’s been a very good medication for me. However I have ran into some problems. My prolactin is very high and has only come down slightly with abilify. Also as of late I’ve been getting a reaction to the injection where my arm goes red and swollen.
We are either going to switch to one every 3 months and perhaps increase the abilify. Or I will be starting an abilify depot and coming off it.
To be honest I want to switch. But I’m apprehensive about it.
Been on it for years - with no problems. But i havent mucked around with med changes - which im sure can complicate things in your body.
Im also on Invega injection, been on it for like ten months. This antipsychotic has been quite good for me. I was thinkin g and told my pdoc to change my ap because of my increased anxiety, low appetite also i want to mention here restlesness etc and she said to try one more injection to see if things improve.
Paranoid thought s are overwhelming in my head lately so maybe she will change my AP.
