My prescription is something along the lines of -5 and -5.50 in the other eye. I cannot be without glasses. I got two pairs of glasses recently both together cost me £300… It’s crazy. These should be free unless you go for designer.
I don’t know my prescription but I do wear mine all the time. My eyes see a lot better than they did before I had lasik. Before lasik, I was legally blind.
@LilyoftheValley so glad you can see now…that makes me sad.
I would like to get this done, but I also like wearing glasses… Which is why I stick with the glasses and contacts.
I wear my glasses when I’m driving or out in public.
I usually don’t need my glasses when I’m in my home unless I want to see the TV clearer.
I’m supposed to wear mine all the time, but my eyes aren’t really bad. I don’t wear them because then my eyes will get weaker and need a stronger prescription. That happened when I wore my last glasses all the time.
I wear my glasses to read and drive a vehicle. most times they bother me…I don’t like it on my face so I tend to take them off at home…
I think it does weaken the eyes but they say otherwise. Everytime I go in I come out with a stronger prescription than before.
I wear my glasses all the time
I don’t wear glasses, I can see fine.
I went to the eye doctors office about a month ago and I passed all the reading and eye chart tets with both eyes.
But he made me look through this device that has different lenses in it, and one lens made things looked a little clearer. He said I could get glasses with those lenses but it was so minor I don’t really need too.
One of my jobs is driving and I can see fine on the road. My other job is working with computers and I can stare at monitors without problems. Plus motherboards have tiny print on them and I can read it.
It’s strange because both my parents have had glasses since they were younger, but I’ve never needed them and I’ll be 44 next Tuesday. Then no one in my family has schizophrenia except me. Funny how genetics work.
I wear glasses or contacts all day. My vision is -2.75, I think. Not terrible, but bad enough that I need correction all day.
I wear glasses all day every day.
I get nothing for free. I buy mine online from a discount provider of eyeware.
Buy them online @anon25873142 there much cheaper
Like 2 others just mentioned, you can get cheaper, but still good quality, glasses online.
I don’t know what country you’re in, so I don’t know what options you have, but I shop for glasses on Zenni.
I got my prescription done at specsavers, and I took that away free. However if I then get them online they can turn around and say that it’s not their fault the prescription is wrong. This way Specsavers can fix it for free.
I buy my glasses online too.
Much cheaper this way and they are high quality
Then you will pay for the benefit of that I’m afraid.
I have ordered them online from 2 different places, and not had a problem as yet
I paid £120 for a pair of Oakley glasses with transitions lenses and a few other hard coating things and screen protectors
Honestly, it’s way worth the gamble. I found the Oakley’s for £220 on Vision Expresses website just for frames, but I used their virtual try on to see if I liked them, then typed the exact model into Google and found a decent site less than half the price
A lot of these places use Trustpilot for reviews as well
I don’t wear glasses. I do have strabismus in my left eye, but it’s mostly controllable except when I’m really tired. I would never wear contacts though, but I’d be fine with glasses if necessary.
I have worn glasses since I was 14 (I’m 37 now). I’m short sighted and my vision is blurry without glasses so I wear them all the time, even to read, unless the book/phone is close to my face. I need them to drive of course.
