Who here take clozapine and IS it good for anxiety ? And what about weight ? And effect on weight IS dose dépendant whit it ?.

It made me gain 100lbs. I lost 80 when I got off of it.

I take a very low dose of clozapine (25 mg).
It helps me to fall asleep.
Invega has a bigger impact on my weight but I take the max dose.
I’m a bit chubby but okay with it.

I’m on 300mg. For me, anxiety will come for like 10 minutes then fade. But compared to Olanzapine, much less anxiety over the day. I was 40lb overweight on Olanzapine and gained 10 more lb for a total of 50 on Clozapine.

I wouldn’t say it’s great for anxiety
I been reducing it and I’m having less anxiety in my situation.
I do have some clozapine induced OCD too
And as for weight, yes I gained with Clozaril but not as bad as olanzapine

i take clozapine 4 times a day and it really helps for most of anxiety… just occasionally i get break through symptoms and then i need to take some lorazepam and then it’s ok again for a couple weeks.
