Who here lives alone and if so do you get lonely?

Hey guys, as above! I live alone!

I have lived alone now for four years.

To be honest, I get lonely sometimes, but I do prefer my own company.

The main problem I have is keeping up with chores.

I have my parents, who are pretty much my only social contacts now. I am not sure what I’d do without them here

If I could afford to live alone, I would. But I don’t make much money, and I usually drink a lot when I live alone so it’s probably best I stay with the folks for now

I’ve lived alone since December 2008, but I used to have my mom I could visit. She died February 2018. Once in a while I’ll get lonely, but it’s not too bad. I’ll call my sister or one of the few friends I have.

I used to live alone but since my sister left her x husband she lives with me. It’s ok.

I have live alone most of my adult life. I rarely get lonely.
I have my pets to help keep me from getting lonely

I live alone too. I don’t really get lonely as much as I used to. I have my cat, and I keep my mind occupied a lot with reading and watching films.

i live alone, but mom and dad live right across the street, and i visit them a couple times a day. for awhile i was thinking about getting a roommate. but now i enjoy living by myself. less cleaning. less talking. a live in girlfriend would be nice though, or maybe a close friend living with me. those are the only 2 scenarios i would allow a roommate.
