Who here has been in the military, army, air force

Try bursting fire, you’ll keep your barrels cool…

See I had two barrels for my SAW, so if ever one got hot enough to cook off my belt-I’d replace the barrel with a new one…thank god it never got that hot for me honestly.

But miniguns are hella fun-I’ve never shot one honestly

THey forced me into a BOXING tournament…it was supposed to be only volunteer and the MADE me box an experienced fighter! I got my bell run so much, and man it isn’t fun having to fight hand to hand. It’s a downright challenge.

My grandpa had a tommy gun with the drum clip…he let 7 year old me unload into one of his old cars that’s a mean gun too…

that .45 ACP round the tommy gun and 1911s have knocks people down. THe bullet is almost half an inch wide. It’s amazing, and that’s why americas enemies out gun us…they’re using vintage weapons with larger rounds…it’s a bad situation.

I mean my machine gun was .223 remington belt ammo…so that’s not really a big bullet just a magnum .22 bullet that’s it.

I joined after you did…we were taught mma…there’s an exercise you stand face to face with your friend…the instructor yells right hand…and you smack the ■■■■ out of your buddy…then its his turn…I got good at the hand to hand and beat my instructors…they forced me into a 3 on 1 fight…but the had tazers…I disarmed one and then got annihilated…and choked out…only time I lost a fight…

so they’ll try to jazz it up and tell you the caliber is 5.56 mm…it’s still a .22 bullet…

THe war machine makes the bullets smaller, and makes more of them…it’s nuts. We used to use .30-06 springfield ammo in our weapons.

We had boxing, we didn’t learn BJJ like the special forces did we were strictly go for knock outs instead of submissions. Nowadays I study filipino martial arts which is a weapons based martial art that goes to empty hand as you master each designated weapons.

MMA is great, but notice something in this fight…

He uses his shoe, to disarm a knife attacker.

I dunno if I could ever pull it off, only in the movies I think…

Mma def has its weaknesses…I did knife and baton training those were fun…as a teen I did kendo and got pretty decent at it…had to quit because I knocked the instructors sons teeth out…he kept elbowing me and kicking me…so I held the kendo stick above my shoulder balancing the tip on my other hand…went for a thrust that I knew he could block…but as he blocked to his right I caught him with an elbow to the mouth knocked him and his teeth out…

Of course I’ve calmed down a lot since I was a teen…and where I would be the first to throw a punch now I’d rather talk or scare them out of fighting…you don’t have to use force …often the projection of force is more than enough to punk out a would be attacker…

I hear that they’re going to make an even lighter SAW that fires caseless ammo, which is much lighter than conventional ammo, and it performs just as well.

My father did kendo and very many martial arts and can be quite aggressive. He’s fought me with a steak knife no ■■■■■■■■.

THat would be nutso…I couldn’t imagine a system like that but you never know. When I was in active duty, fort braggs delta force was testing HKs XM8. It eventually evolved into the SCAR, but not alot of people know about the XM8-it’s a good weapon.

.223

Maybe we could have the 6.8mm spc debate?

I was in the equivalent or rotc at uni and did a brief stint in the army reserves, leaving due to injury.

By the time I was ready to rejoin I was unwell.

6.8 spc is a great round, yet so is the .50 beowulf. There’s alot of socom rounds out there that normal guys like me never got. I wish the best for socom though since now they’re the tip of our war spear…

and just to keep fighters at bay, I’m really a figment of what I was when I was 20 years old and young and dumb and full of come.

God bless us, all service members of all countries.
