These are the night vision I used in the field, they’re now considered old type generation night vision goggles.

I had 600 rounds, interceptor body armor with two SAPI plates, load bearing vest with my lensatic compass and additional combat gear, MITCH prototype helmet, and if I was advance party a 70 pound rucksack of artillery gear to emplace before the howitzer arrived on scene.

On real time paratrooping (jumping from planes with gear attached to your person),

I was 180 pounds, with my weapon and gear and parachute I weighed 270 pounds.

You a bad dude…that’s like 100 extra pounds…

I worked with REAL RANGERS. US army rangers, infantry, civil affairs, even american civilian intelligence agents were at our forward operating bases. I met alot of good rangers, though. They took me aside and taught me alot.

You (Fall) out of the aircraft not (jump)

All this time, I’ve been looking for a military person who is diagnosed with full blown schizophrenia like me.

I did alot of combat in the past…do you think all the parachuting and fighting brought this on me?

I’ve no one, in my family, ever-who has been diagnosed with this illness.

I’ve gotten by yet it wasn’t easy. I’ve lost alot of edge along the way.

Be careful carrying in your car a lot of places have a legal size limit…

I will be, I’ll just admit ignorance of the law and tell the officer who I am. But I will gouge a car jacker with a window down.

Yea man if you need somebody to talk to about this kinda stuff just pm me…

I carry a large crow bar so I can’t say much…lol

They used to make me run the SAW with a 150 round zippered nylon drum that was camoed. I ran 6 miles a day leading the run because I had the heaviest weapon.

Now wait and I’ll explain, my maching gun isn’t the heaviest grade weapon in my artillery section…

My best friend had this, a 240 bravo. But he ran with an M4 that was given to him also so the machine gun could stay in the foxhole…

here’s an m4

so everyone had a small carbine and I was the only one running a machine gun…

I passed out and fainted on runs before with that machine gun…6 miles every morning when we were supposed to be resting for the next mission. We trained 24/7, even at Shkin-the combat zone…

I was trained on ALL us army towed artillery, 105mm and 155mm towed. There is tanking self propelled artillery but I didn’t choose that I chose light artillery in a paratrooping unit to attack the enemy that way. Artillery is the king of battle, infantry is the queen and we protect her with our lives and accurate correct fire.

Other that artillery, I was trained in 155mm mortars and nuclear biological chemical warfare leadership.
